Faces of Detroit is a local non-profit started by Scott. He paints the stories of the marginalized here in Detroit, including veterans and those that are experiencing homelessness. The proceeds from each portrait sale got to help out those he paints. The mission is simply to love our neighbors, build relationships and provide a sense of dignity by painting our friends in a new light.

Faces of Detroit is a part of a larger organization "Faces of Mankind" run by Brian Peterson.
